there 3 class of dummy:
1. minimalist dummy
2. Casual Dummy
3. Royal Dummy


Minimalist dummy (budget less than $500)
1. Buy mid-end few year earlier, example for budget less than %5000, you can consider to buy Canon 20/30D second + Lens kit 18-55

20D is old version but 20D is one of canon camera that build to last.

2. Buy Mid-end such as Canon 550D/600D kit.
3. Buy Low-end New, 1100D

Casual Dummy (budget $500-1000)
Canon 40D second can be an option with Second Tamron 17-50 lens or second 
Canon 17-85 lens
if you want to new one you can choose 550D with 15-85 lens or 60D with 
18-55 lens. If you have more budget you can buy Canon 50mm 1.8 lens or 
50mm 1.4 lens.

Royal Dummy (budget more than $1500)
Just buy the latest version.


is it worth to upgrade body, example from xxxD to xxD, yes of course but 
if you want to upgrade, choose 2 generation above, such as from 350D to 
40/50D.

Accessories you have to buy:
1. Good Memory Card
Memory card is the best invests for your camera, don't take a risk 
using cheap memory card.

SanDisk Ultra series for limit budget, SanDisk Extreme HD-Video or 
Extreme 30 Mb/s (if you have more budget), other alternative is Transcend 
for compact flash or TEAM for high speed

2. Extra battery
Always have an extra battery, you never know when you need them

3. Comfortable Bag and secure

4. Flash External
If you need an extra light you can use flash, but pop-up flash sometimes 
ruined picture you have taken.
